Kenwick is divided into four precincts:

• Victory: most of Kenwick is in this precinct except for the three following three exceptions
• Julia R. Ewan: includes the 100 and 200 block of Sherman Avenue
• Kingswood: includes the 300 block of Sherman Avenue
• Walton: includes the west side of Victory Avenue and areas to the west (Richmond Avenue, Cramer Avenue, National Avenue, etc.)

US Senate:

• Mitch McConnell (R)
• Jim Bunning (R)

US House (6th district):

• Ben Chandler (D)

KY Senate (13th district):

• Ernesto Scorsone (D)

KY House (76th district):

• Ruth Ann Palumbo (D)

Lexington-Fayette Urban County Council (non-partisan):

• Dick DeCamp (3rd district: Walton precinct)
• David Stevens (5th district: Victory, Julia R. Ewan, and Kingswood precincts)

Fayette County School Board (non-partisan):

• John Price (3rd district: Julia R. Ewan and Kingswood precincts)
• Amanda Ferguson (4th district: Victory and Walton precincts)
